For the same reasons I have forgone flouride toothpaste and treatments in our family, I like a preventative treatment to avoid cavities and enamel corrosion instead of being reactive with fillings and cavity treatments.
My kids can be SO PICKY about their toothpaste flavors so I was very happy that this "minty" flavor was so mild they did not even notice. Instead, they ask for it every night when brushing their teeth and it's so easy to use and safe to swallow even our 3 year old can use it. It's helped so much with hot and cold sensitivity, heal small cavities that our dentist did not want to treat yet because the kids were so young (and other flouride free pastes were not working) and generally improve our overall dental health.
