As I was learning more and more about each and every ingredient in all of our cosmetics, personal care products, cleaning products, foods, snacks, clothing, bedding, toys, lights, plants, cookware, food storage, gadgets, etc. it became overwhelming to keep track of everything and know if there were any alternatives currently available on the market. This app made it so dang easy and easy to share with everyone we know that it has become second nature to "just scan it" before buying anymore. While the app has limitations - it doesn't currently rate protein products or cleaning products - it does have a pretty extensive list of items and item alternatives without any incentive advertise for any product company. I also like that they use more than American safety standards by also referring to European Union and Canadian safety standards which have been known to be far more restrictive (in the best ways) than American standard.
